Desbanco is about something private. This policy explains, plainly, what data is collected and what never leaves your phone.
1. What never leaves your device
Your answers to the intake questions, your personal reason for quitting, and any free text you write are stored on your phone only. They are never sent to analytics or to our servers.
2. Data we do process
- App usage: anonymous events (screens viewed, whether you finished onboarding) tied to a random identifier we generate, not to your device's advertising ID.
- Your progress: streak days, the weekly amount you report, and urge logs. Stored on your device; if you later enable an account to sync, they'll also be stored in our backend, linked to that account.
- Purchases: your subscription status, handled by the payment platform. We never see or store your card details.
- Email: if you join the waitlist on this site, we keep your address to tell you when we launch.
3. Who it's shared with
We use providers that process data on our behalf:
- Mixpanel — anonymous usage analytics.
- Supabase — database and accounts, once those exist.
- RevenueCat / Superwall — subscription management.
- Web3Forms — receiving the waitlist form.
- Apple and Google — payment processing.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
4. How long it's kept
For as long as you use the App. If you uninstall it, the local data goes with it. Account data and waitlist data are deleted on request.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing tohola@desbanco.com. We respond within a reasonable time under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and, where applicable, the GDPR.
6. Minors
Desbanco is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
7. Changes
If we change this policy in a significant way, we'll say so in the App or by email before it takes effect.
